At IU Bloomington, 21st Century Scholars have access to both academic advising and success coaching—two complementary forms of support designed to help you stay on track, meet your goals, and make the most of your college experience.
Academic Advising
Your academic advisor helps you navigate the structure of your degree and make informed decisions about your academic path. They can assist with course selection, major exploration, academic planning, degree audits, registration, and understanding university policies. Advisors are also a key resource if you’re experiencing academic challenges and need guidance on next steps.
Success Coaching
Your success coach focuses on helping you build the skills and strategies needed to succeed day to day. Through personalized support, they can help you stay on track with scholarship requirements, monitor your academic progress, connect with campus resources, and strengthen time management and study habits—all while helping you navigate college life more confidently.
