Middle Way House
Middle Way House is a local domestic violence shelter that provides victims of interpersonal violence with shelter, counseling and resources realted to safe housing, community resources, counseling, legal advocates, and support groups. If you or someone has been a victim of domestic violence, or if your student group would like to learn more about volunteering at Middle Way or about issues related to violence, then Middle Way is a great resource. They offer educational programs as well as volunteering opportunities to students.
Narcotics Anonymous
Are you or someone else interested in quitting drug use, but find that addiction is much stronger than the will to stop? Narcotics Anonymous provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle through group meetings and community. Positive Link (IU Health)
Positive Link, a program of Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital Community Health, is the preeminent provider of comprehensive prevention and social services for those impacted by HIV in south central Indiana. They provide a number of services to the community related to the health and well-being of those infected with or at risk for HIV infection. Prosecutor’s Office
The Monroe County Prosecutor's Office offers a number of resources related to all four Culture of Care focus areas. Survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence can obtain support from the Victims Assistance Program, and student groups can learn more about sexual assault through prevention educational programs.
