Leslie is the advisor for Culture of Care as the Assistant Dean for Women's and Gender Affairs.  She stumbled upon advising Cutlure of Care after leaving her role as the Bloomington campus Greek Advisor. As an undergraduate student leader she worked hard to change the campus environment and decade later, is still at IU creating positive change. In addition to advising the Culture of Care initiative, Leslie is a doctoral candidate in health behaviors through the School of Public Health. She recieved a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in marketing, and a Master of Science in mental health counseling from IU.  Her dissertation topic has Culture of Care written all over it.  She will be examining how students help one another when someone has had too much alcohol to drink.

Leslie’s goal is to provide students with tools to have the #CouragetoCare through both the Culture of Care initiative and the Step UP! IU, a program that provides hands-on training for students to develop the skills and confidence needed to effectively intervene and help fellow Hoosiers.
